• Availability: Congressional Research Service Staff OnlyThe Congressional Research Service (CRS), Congressional Programs and Communications Office, of the Office of the Director (DIR) is seeking a Multimedia Production Specialist. The ideal candidate provides technical support in the pre-production, production, and post-production phases for video content.The Multimedia Production Specialist will assist with audiovisual production for CRS events (including lighting, video recording, and audio mixing); recording, editing and producing audio and video content for Congress and CRS employees; and providing administrative support for multimedia-related activities.The DIR Congressional Programs and Communications Office is responsible for activities including, but not limited to the following:
  • Coordinating over 250 programs and seminars for Congress each year;
  • Producing videos and podcasts to inform Congress;
  • Engaging in outreach to Congress, including developing and presenting information about CRS programs, products and services; and,
  • Managing media relations, social media, websites and internal communications.Human Resources
