Job Description:

We're seeking a talented Gelato Maker to join our team and help us continue to deliver exceptional products to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a love for gelato, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional product.Key Responsibilities:

• Gelato Production: Prepare and mix gelato bases, flavors, and ingredients according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain gelato machines, pasteurizers, and other equipment used in the production process.
• Quality Control: Monitor the consistency, texture, and flavor of the gelato, making adjustments as needed to ensure the final product meets our high standards.
• Inventory Management: Track and manage ingredient inventory, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure continuous production.
• Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Recipe Development: Collaborate with the team to develop new and innovative flavors, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer feedback.
• Customer Service: Occasionally interact with customers to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction with our gelato offerings.Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a food production environment, particularly with gelato or ice cream, is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to follow recipes and production processes accurately.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment.
