As a key player in our bakery management team, you'll oversee procurement and inventory management, ensuring that the right ingredients and supplies are available to meet production needs. You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with suppliers, streamline our supply chain, and implement best practices in warehouse management.If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are excited about helping a rapidly expanding business scale smoothly, this is the role for you!Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement and Purchasing:Source and purchase high-quality ingredients, packaging, and supplies essential to our bakery.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost-effective, timely deliveries.Conduct regular market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and explore new supplier partnerships.Inventory and Warehouse Management:Oversee and manage inventory levels to support production, ensuring accurate stock levels and reducing wastage through FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices.Implement inventory control systems to prevent stockouts or overstocking.Collaborate with production teams to forecast and plan material requirements.Supplier Management:Build and maintain strong, reliable relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely deliveries.Regularly evaluate supplier performance and resolve issues related to orders or deliveries swiftly.Cost Control and Reporting:Track purchasing costs and work with management to improve cost efficiency, including reporting on Cost Of Goods Sold (COGS) and identifying savings.Propose and implement initiatives to reduce costs without compromising product quality.Compliance and Documentation:Ensure all procurement activities comply with food safety standards and internal policies.Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and supplier contracts.Collaboration:Work closely with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.Communicate effectively with warehouse staff to ensure correct material handling and inventory accuracy.What We're Looking For:Hands-On Approach: Comfortable being actively involved in daily operations.Problem-Solving Skills: Strong decision-making and analytical abilities.Proactivity: A results-driven mindset with the ability to work autonomously.Experience: At least 4-5 years of procurement or warehouse management experience, preferably in the food industry.Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration is preferred.Why Join Us?Be part of a fast-growing company where your impact will be felt daily.Opportunity to shape and improve critical aspects of our supply chain as we expand.Work in a collaborative, supportive environment that values team work and growth.Competitive salary with excellent benefits and growth opportunities.Next Steps:If this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, please submit your resume and a motivation letter detailing your relevant experience and why you'd love to join the Fresh Baguette team.PI0b4adbcde4bc-25660-35880963
