ID: 50674478 Shift: 8H Night Description: Comment: Facility will ACCEPT LOCALS for this position (under 50 miles)- Local rate: $32.POSITION DESCRIPTION: Sterile Processing Technician. ALL RTO requests must be in the packet at the time of submission. Anything sent after, will not be approved. Sterile Processing Tech II - 8H Night shifts, 40 hours per week, rotating weekends, No on-call. Prior travel highly preferred, but not required. Processes surgical instrument sets which include decontamination, prep and pack, sterilization, storage and distribution to user departments. Involves the use of software system for instrument management to complete assigned tasks. May also be assigned to assist with training (preceptor) of less experienced permanent team members. Certification is preferred, not required. Epic EMR. REQUIREMENTS: Min 2 years of experience. COVID vaccine required. ONLY Medical Declination accepted, Must have signed and authorized documentation from Physician in packet or submission will be dropped. UMMS does not accept Religious Declinations. Flu Season has ended at UMMS and vaccines are no longer required.Manager will interview and offer. Guaranteed Hours: Contract Weeks:91
