Apply today!About the roleReworld Harrisburg seeks a dedicated Utility Operator who will be responsible for performing various essential duties at our Energy from Waste Power Plant.Competitive Hourly Rate to well-qualified candidates for this opportunity.Comprehensive Company Benefits are included.Medical Insurance & other Benefits begin DAY ONE of Employment.We seek a dedicated individual who will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of roll-off trucks, front-end loaders, conveyor systems, and misc. heavy equipment associated with the residue handling system. They will need to ensure compliance with established environmental practices and procedures as well as maintain housekeeping requirements in the residue handling area and surrounding roadways.A successful candidate will work under the direction of the Shift Supervisor. Assignments will include but are not limited to PM maintenance tasks, assisting with, and performing minor equipment repair work, residue removal, trash handling on the tipping floor, performing painting, clean-up work, and various other tasks.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:--- High School Diploma or GED preferred--- Minimum of 1 year of experience--- Ability to work an 8-hour day shift M-F, recognizing that this position may be required to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed. Also must have the ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift when needed for coverage. --- Performing actions as directed to correct abnormal operating conditions or emergency situations.--- Ability to operate roll-off trucks, front-end loaders, and other heavy equipment.--- Ability to take direction, work alone and/or with others effectively, possess excellent communication skills, and work in varied climates, and without height restrictions.--- Understand and follow safety procedures for tasks within the plant.--- Must have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with all shift personnel.--- A clean area is a safe area; you will be responsible for maintaining clean, orderly, and safe working areas.--- Ability to wear a full-face respirator and be respiratory fit qualified.You must be legally authorized to work in the country where this job is located and not require any sponsorship assistance from Reworld.Reworld is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
