- Oversee and manage daily security operations for assigned
facility. Collaborate with other CPSOs and program security
team.
- Review, assess, develop, and maintain written plans, policies,
and procedures (e.g., SOPs, OPSEC Plans, Security Test Plans, Media
Control Plan, Fixed Facility Checklists, etc.) complying with IC,
DoD, Navy, and unit level directives, instructions, regulations,
and manuals.
- Develop and maintain opening and closing procedures and
documentation. Train program resident personnel in opening and
closing procedures. Perform opening and closing functions within
the facility.
- Perform internal security functions including storage container
management, safe combination management, and administrative open
and lockup procedures.
- Change combinations and maintain a combination log for all
security containers and cipher locks in the facility, ensuring
adherence to the DoD Lock Program and information security
policies.
- Support the PSO in maintaining complete and accurate facility
management documentation. Assist with review and maintenance of
SOPs and any additional security related documentation as delegated
by the PSO.
- Serve as the Trusted Agent authorized to perform file transfers
from both classified to unclassified networks and unclassified to
classified networks.
- Maintain the facility access roster for all resident
personnel-relaying any discrepancies with required access roster
fields to include clearance status to the PSO.
- Manage the customer's visitor control program in accordance
with governing directives to include preparation/receipt of visit
notifications, visitor identification, and preparation of
appropriate visitor identification (badges).
- Perform additional entry, exit, visitor processing, and
escorting as needed.
- Perform periodic entry/exit inspections in accordance with
building and/or facility policies and procedures.
- Serve as Top Secret Control Officer (TSCO) or alternate, as
required.
- Conduct annual self-inspection utilizing the government
provided Self Inspection Checklist (SIC). Prepare memorandum
documenting all deficiencies, develop a Corrective Action Plan
(CAP), and track/assist the customer in correcting all
deficiencies.
- Oversee and support all Document Management & Control
(Information Security) activities within the space.
- Maintain awareness of current, new, or modifications to
existing DoD and IC security policies/procedures.
- Manage classified material within the government facility
ensuring adherence to DoD and IC standards.
- Attend and facilitate meetings (including classified), prepare
agendas, track action items, and distribute minutes as needed.
- Perform additional security functions in support of the program
as needed.Qualifications
- Education/Certifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Completion of Security Fundamentals Professional Certification
(SFPC) certificate within one year of start date.
- Position requires U.S. citizenship and a final DoD TOP SECRET
clearance with most recent investigation (SSBI, SBPR, PPR, T5, T5R)
completed within the last 6 years.
- Experience
- Two (2) years' experience in a DoD Security environment
(Military, Govt Civilian, or DoD contractor).
- One (1) year experience in a DoD Security environment
(Military, Govt Civilian, or DoD contractor) and completion of the
below Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) training
courses:
- Introduction to Industrial Security Course, IS011.16
- Introduction to Information Security Course, IF011.16
- Introduction to Physical Security Course, PY011.16
- Introduction to Personnel Security Course, PS113.16
- Introduction to DoD Personnel Security Adjudication Course,
PS001.18
- Special Access Program (SAP) Overview Course, SA001.16
- Comprehensive knowledge in all security disciplines at the SAP
level.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Navy, DoD, and IC policies (e.g.,
DoD 5205.07 Vol 1-4, ICD 704, NISPOM, etc.) regarding Personnel,
Physical, and Information Security Standards and Procedures.
- Demonstrated experience working with DISS, JADs, and JADE.
- Security Clearance
