Job Description:
BASIC SUMMARY
Machine Operator will run the milling and embedding machines within
Smartcard while inspecting card processing to ensure in meets the
Oberthur and the Customers requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Receives job assignments from direct shift supervisor and/or
working Lead and check job jacket to verify specifications meet
customer standards prior to running job
*Sets up milling to perform specified application including
modification of machining to accommodate the size of chip
*Ensures that all application processes are functioning correctly
at all times
*Ensures that milling area is kept neat and clean and that there is
no mixing of products
*Sets-up Embedding machine to perform the application within
product specification, ensuring the chip is embedded in the correct
positioning per the job order
*Modifies embedding machine when necessary and make adjustments as
necessary to ensure all embedding meets Oberthur and the client?s
standard
*Continuously checks completed product to ensure correct
positioning and adjusting machine when necessary
