Global buying experience is required for this position as well as being a strong negotiator. The qualified candidate will have manufacturing experience & will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related manufacturing field. Must have a solid understanding of MPS/MRP systems, lean manufacturing and experience working with international vendors. Candidates that hold an APICS CPIM Certification would be a plus. The Global Buying Specialist will manage the procurement of both direct and indirect materials from domestic & international suppliers, ensure purchase orders are processed accurately & on time. Candidates should have experience working with multiple department Manager's & be strong in supplier forecasting as well as managing inventory records.
