Basic Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
clearance with ability to pass a counter-intelligence scope (CI)
Poly clearances.
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree
(Master's degree and 6 years of relevant experience or PhD with 3
years relevant experience).
- Previous experience working as a PC Technician, Systems
Administrator or other IT Support roles that provided the
experience needed to be successful in the Site Systems
Administrator role focusing on server/compute.
- Current CISSP or Security + Certification.Desired
Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearances.
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT I or DoD 8570.01-M IAT II
certification.Security Clearance:This Position requires an Active
TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a CI Poly, US Citizenship is
required to hold this clearance.Peraton is seeking an experienced
systems Site Systems Administrator (Server/Compute) to join our
national intelligence program that delivers engineering,
application development, deployment, operations, upgrades and
sustainment of products and services to achieve our client's global
missions.** This position manages/performs Shift work to cover the
24X7 Operations. **Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for computers and associated
networks.
- Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair personal computers,
network equipment such as servers, modems, multiplexers, related PC
software, telephones, cables, and connectors.
- Provide personal computers, hardware, and software support to
internal and/or external customers.
- Diagnose reported hardware, software, and network problems;
resolves problems or contracts additional technical support as
necessary.
- Maintain network diagrams and circuit records, maintain trouble
logs, and instruct users in the use of computers.
- Investigate information, network, and communications needs of
users and make recommendations regarding software and hardware
purchases.
- Perform basic PC, PBX, and network software programming.
- Maintain equipment, systems, and conduct testing and
troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot to proactively resolve issues and their root
causes and respond to technical requests for support.
- Assess ongoing user experience and take action to resolve
issues or to make enhancements.
- Develop, implement and maintain processes, procedures, test
cases, test results, issue resolutions, performance analysis, and
user guidelines/ instructions documentation.
- 10% Travel may be required within the National Capital Region
(NCR) on an as needed basis for customer or corporate
requirements.**Position is Contingent on Contract Award**
