This team does much more than software development. They modernize legacy capabilities, integrate products, implement automation efficiencies, and support operational systems. They challenge their team members to think outside the box for innovative solutions and help each other grow their skills.Responsibilities:Software development of new or enhancement of existing capabilities predominately using JavaJava development for new or existing applicationsProvide Tier III Support for deployed capabilities and address bug fixesTest and debug software code for network connected systemsPerform integration and testing as neededCollaborate with a team of Software and Systems engineers in an Agile environment to analyze requirements, derive user stories, track issues, and create user documentationProvide status and update tickets#divergentExperience with Java developmentExperience with JMSDatabase experience such as Mongo or MySQLExperience developing scalable solutions, applicable to both large- and small-scale platformsExperience working on teams of software developers and integratorsClearance Required:Active TS/SCI with PolyMinimum Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.4 years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.Minimum Years of Experience:14 years' experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is requiredPreferred:Experience with containers (i.e., Docker and/or Kubernetes)Experience with Java development IDEs (e.g. IntelliJ, Eclipse)Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)Experience with Git and/or GitlabExperience with Gradle
