OverviewGovCIO is currently hiring for a remote Software Engineer III for the USPS TESS proposal.ResponsibilitiesDesigns, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applicationsSupports and/or installs software applications/operating systemsParticipates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of softwareFamiliar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and proceduresRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsPerforms a variety of complicated tasksMay lead and direct the work of othersMay report directly to a project lead or managerA wide degree of creativity and latitude is expectedQualificationsBachelor's with 4+ years of software engineering experience (or commensurate experience)Clearance Required: Ability to maintain a public trust clearanceCompany OverviewGovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
