Windows/Linux--System Administrator that will be working in a
highly collaborative, multi-platform and multi-disciplined
environment. The candidate will be responsible for provisioning,
installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems
hardware and software related to a Windows/Linux infrastructure for
classified programs in both physical and cloud (AWS and/or Azure)
environments. Duties include, but are not limited to, server
management (software and hardware); cross platform authentication
and access management; data backup and restoration; software and
license configuration; Provide IT systems administration in a
heterogeneous RedHat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows
environment.---
Understanding and knowledge of Windows Server internals to include
DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.---
Working in both cloud (Azure) and on prem environments.
Understanding of data RAID, data backup uses and technologies.
Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
---
Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security
requirements and provide documentation on advanced IT processes and
procedures and other tasks as assigned.--
DNS,--DHCP, Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, NetBackup, prior
systems administration and networking administration experience
beyond account maintenance, Windows or Linux administration,
backup, and recovery enterprise suites.
Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, Windows desktops (Windows
XP, 7, 10), Splunk and ESX and/or other virtual computing
methods.
Previous experience working in a cloud (AWS) environment.--
CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification
In-depth working experience in Linux Server Administration
Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and
solutions.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The
salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of
all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending
an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and
associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience,
location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may
be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical,
dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term
disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work

parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are
dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not
the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired
applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term
incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the
position and whether or not it is covered by a
collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual
programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of
factors including, but not limited to, individual performance,
business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. S.
territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
