Job Description:
Job Description BAE Systems is looking for an entry-level
Computer Programmer or Software engineer to support maintenance and
development of web-based applications. Developers are expected
to:
Gather and develop customer
requirements. Create, test, and demo Jira projects based off
gathered customer requirements.Develop and maintain project
documentation in support.Define user groups and permission
requirements based off customer need.Research and present findings
on possible technical solutions.Collaborate as part of a team with
other developers and support personnel.Work with section supervisor
to estimate project work and develop a schedule.Required Education,
Experience, & Skills
- Experience in full lifecycle application development using
Agile Methods
- Experience in the design and development of software using
Java, C++, or C#
- Experience in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML & Web services
- Working knowledge of programming and integrating software with
existing systems
- Working knowledge of software testing and quality
assurance
- Working knowledge of maintaining standards compliance
- Must possess strong oral & written communications skills
- Must be able to obtain an maintain a Secret level security
clearancePreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Familiarity with disciplined
approaches to Analysis of Alternatives for COTS software selection
based on system requirementsFamiliarity with evaluating and
identifying new technologies for implementationFamiliarity with
OracleFamiliarity with COTS installation and
configurationFamiliarity with documenting software
functionalityFamiliarity with source control systems and
configuration management practicesFamiliarity with front end
graphical user interface designPay InformationFull-Time Salary
Range: $61820 - $105050Please note: This range is based on our
market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined
by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
