Requirements: U.S. Citizenship, no dual citizen allowed. Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
Location: Onsite (5 days per week in Washington, DC)
Clearance: Active Top Secret National Security Clearance with the ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
Job Description:
The Mid System Administrator focusing on ICAM will be responsible for the administration, maintenance and support of ICAM systems and services. This includes managing user identities, credentials, and access controls to ensure secure access to Govt. systems and data, providing technical support to users and stakeholders. The System Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, to support business processing requirements. This role involves performing software installations and upgrades to both operating systems and layered software packages. Military Veterans Encouraged to Apply.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred) plus 5 years' experience.
    • At least 5 years of experience in system administration with a focus on ICAM.
    • Proficient in identity management systems and access control frameworks.
    • Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., FICAM, NIST).
    • Ability to provide on-call/after-hours support if needed.
    • Oracle Identity Governance (OIG) Suite and/or equivalent IdAM tools.
    • Linux operating systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
    • Windows Server operating system environments and Active Directory administration.
    • Virtual environments (VMware hypervisor environment).
    • Red Hat Identity Policy and Authentication (IPA).
    • Knowledge of SAML and STS for secure communication and authentication.
    • Experience with eXtensible Access Control Markup Language (XACML).
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services and Lightweight Directory Services.

      Desired Skills and Qualifications:

      • Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services.
      • Network Architecture and Design.
      • Database queries using tools like SQLDeveloper or SQLPlus.

        Key Responsibilities:

        • Administer ICAM solutions, including user provisioning, access control, and identity lifecycle management.
        • Monitor and troubleshoot ICAM-related incidents and issues.
        • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance ICAM processes and systems.
        • Collaborate with security teams to ensure alignment and compliance with federal regulations and Govt. policies and best practices.
        • Provide support, training, and guidance to end users regarding access and identity management.
        • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and servers, ensuring they meet business processing needs.
        • Schedule and execute installations and upgrades, adhering to established IT policies and procedures.
        • Monitor system performance and optimize configurations.
        • Ensure the integrity of workstation/server data by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
        • Implement a comprehensive backup schedule and database archive operations.
        • Develop and promote standard operating procedures for system operations.
        • Conduct routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers.
        • Maintain a comprehensive database/library documenting hardware and software configurations.
