Job Description:

.Net Developer

Summary

The ideal candidate will have designed, developed and implemented CRM software solutions in support of data quality and automation. The candidate will also possess technical skills and experience in the not for profit or education domain that will help their ability to design and develop comprehensive and efficient data processes and systems.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

? Designs, programs, tests and maintains software applications using .NET, J2EE and Crystal Reports.

? Develop and configure COTS applications to support evolving business needs.

? Provides technical ownership in primary areas of competence, and task management and product support.

? Develops increasing expertise in key software development and system implementation technologies.

? Understanding of relational databases including SQL Server.

? Ability to apply experience with Java/J2EE design patterns to solve business issues.

? Knowledge of systems analysis and design (including Agile and Waterfall), and database design.

? Provide technical support regarding the use, understanding, design, and implementation

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

? Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related subject, plus additional related college courses or professional training and minimum of four years of progressively responsible directly-related experience.

Related Skills & Other Requirements:

? Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience with .NET development.

? Experience in customizing and configuring COTS applications, including CRM applications.

? 4 - 6 years of experience in software systems development and programming,

? Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling techniques.

? Strong competence in several programming languages and technologies, working knowledge of multiple tools sets, technologies and implementation environments.

? Fundamentals in OO and computer science foundation principles.

? Experience with a variety of development languages (.NET, Java, Crystal Reports, SQL Server, XML, flat file, Excel Spreadsheet, Apex etc.).

? Understanding of modern software engineering principles, practices, and systems development methodologies

? Familiar with database analysis, design, and programming with an understanding of related technologies and web services.

? Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments simultaneously and effectively in a cross-functional team environment

? Strong problem solving and analytic skills

? Experience with Weblogic Application Server and Spring Framework a plus

? Familiarity with Rational Tool Set a plus
