Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The individual in this position is responsible for software development and support functions including, but not limited to, the designing, programming, debugging, testing, maintaining, and documenting of computer software components and products, as well as other related duties that may be assigned from time to time. Incumbent must be a proactive problem solver, be able to participate in discussions, understand and communicate scientific and computer science concepts fluently in English in both verbal and written form.

JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

A. Designing, programming, testing, maintaining, and documenting of computer software components and products.

B. Setup and install analytical instrument hardware and software.

C. Maintain the development laboratory equipment

D. Support training in the use of software products

E. Assist in the training of new department personnel in our software development procedures

SCOPE:

The position's primary focus is to write analytical instrument software for the Microsoft Windows operating system.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

2 +Years of experience in the following skills Required.

MS Windows O/STesting TechniquesMicrosoft Visual Studio IDE and toolsC++, COM, OLE, Visual Basic (Plus)InstallShield (plus)Microsoft Office C# and .NET programmingSoftware Development Life CycleObject oriented programming and design Computer Science concepts
