Sr. Front-End Web Developer Position Description US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED CGI Federal is currently looking for Front End Web Developers with active Top-Secret clearance to support a large project for a federal government client. The ideal candidate at CGI is a skilled professional with a blend of artistic talent and technical expertise, capable of working independently or collaboratively to build, maintain, and enhance client websites across various industries. This position can be based in Washington DC or Huntsville, AL. Your future duties and responsibilities --- Build, design, and maintain all websites and software applications. --- Engage with business stakeholders, executive management, and other authorities. --- Design, write, and edit website content. --- Understand UI, cross-browser compatibility, and web functions and standards. --- Develop solutions for identified issues or bugs. --- Communicate daily with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders. --- Review code to ensure compliance with industry standards and device compatibility. --- Stay updated on web development trends and participate in study groups. --- Achieve company objectives by taking ownership of new and diverse requests. Required qualifications to be successful in this role --- Proficiency in writing and editing technical documentation. --- Active Top-Secret Clearance. --- Ability to deliver an advanced visual analytic application to include developing data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software; facilitating the bulk analysis of relational information utilizing advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing --- Experience utilizing big data technologies and knowledge of data science models to analyze large amounts of data and create valuable insights --- Expertise in architect and utilization of large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics --- Databricks and Lakehouse architectures --- AWS OpenSearch --- Experience with AWS, Splunk, Databricks, and other Oracle/SQL based platforms. --- Experience with python, Microsoft VBA, and Databricks Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: --- Minimum of 5-8 years' experience as a Front End Web Developer. Please note that due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300.00 - $168,900.00.
