Whatever the client needs, BerkOne can deploy the right mix of services, tools, people, and technology to meet it!We are currently seeking a diligent and knowledgeable Temporary Technical Support Technician in our Bethlehem, PA office.WHAT YOU'LL DO:As a part of our Technical Support Team, the Temporary Technical Support Technician will primarily focus on upgrading all of our computers/desktops to the Windows 11 platform, update inventory using our TrackIt system and handling any HelpDesk tickets associated with the Windows 11 update.Additional Job Responsibilities:Provide 1st level support on help desk calls related to hardware and software issues.Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of personal computer hardware and software.Possess knowledge of local and wide area network systems.Install, configure, and troubleshoot peripheral hardware including printers, scanners, and media drives.Install and configure computer hardware, OS and software applications on desktops and network devices.Perform a full range of maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various types of computer equipment.Possess the ability to identify, diagnose and find effective solutions to problems related to computer hardware and software.Assignment DetailsOn-site in our Bethlehem, PA office!Temporary long-term assignment - up to 18 monthsPayrate: $19.50-$21.00/hour based on experienceSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:00pmNo weekends!WHY WORK WITH BERKONE?Here at BerkOne, open and honest communication is the mobilizing force that maintains the integrity of our company. All positions require a successful reference check, criminal background check and drug screen.RequirementsAssociates (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school.Minimum 6 months - 1-year related experience and/or training; orEquivalent combination of education and experienceBasic knowledge of server-based applications and support.Knowledge of Windows based and non-Windows based business applications.Application support (such as MS Office, MS Windows, Citrix, anti-virus software, internet browsers, email, VPN administration).Strong understanding and experience with hands-on servicing of PCs and peripherals in networked environment.A+ Certification preferred.Compensation details: 19.5-21 Hourly WagePI2569c00ee1c3-25660-35846618
