Job Description:
Job Description BAE Systems is seeking Software Engineers to
support our government customer. The selected applicants will join
the team as we seek to deliver world-class capabilities for our
client and their associated contractors, driving productivity and
innovation using the Scaled Agile Framework. Our Agile Release
Train supports code design, implementation, test and overall
technical expertise for analytic applications and services. This
position will include some or all of the following duties and
responsibilities:Responsibilities include:
- Create / design application interfaces for one or more
applications across the program
- Assist the product lead in development of project-level
solutions discrepancies and enhancements
- Provides level of effort estimates for story point planning for
vetting by product lead
- Completes unit tests
- Participates in agile activities
- Provides inputs to project documentation including but not
limited to requirements, user and administration guides, and
release notes.Lead SW Developers may also:
- Create / design application interfaces for multiple
applications and ensure cohesion across the program
- Lead the development of program-level solutions, discrepancies,
and enhancements
- Generate level of effort estimates for story point planning and
vet LOEs provided by team members
- Supervise and advise more junior members and ensure project
objectives are metRequired Education, Experience, & Skills
Education/Relevant Experience:
- High School Diploma and 9+ years
- Associates and 7+ years
- Bachelors and 5+ years
- Masters and 3+ years
- PhD and 1+ yearDoD 8140/8570 compliant IAT Level II
certification
- Strong experience with code design, implementation, test.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and with a
demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to multiple
audiences.
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with APIs
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure
- Experience with OpenShift, Kubernettes, Docker
- Experience interfacing and briefing government customers at all
levels
- Experience with agile development (SAFe, Scrum)
- Experience migrating application to cloud architecture.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
