Job Description:

The successful candidate must:

flexible schedule that can be dictated by client support issues

Possess strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills in smb, medium, and enterprise level environments

Be able to logically step through issues and troubleshoot problems by thinking outside of the box and being creative with solutions

Have the ability to travel to various client sites within DC metro region.

Responsibilities include:

Implement high quality, scalable and extendable SharePoint solutions

Code, test and implement solutions in a SharePoint environment

Design and implement business solution workflows

Conduct unit testing for all assigned deliverables

Work from high level requirements through detailed specifications and administration

Analyze technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement and create specifications and implement

Act as the technical SME for our internal and external clients on SharePoint current industry best practices and trends

Install patches and updates to customers SharePoint environments monthly.

Create scripts to automate deployments, and other work related tasks

Build and maintain internal SharePoint system.

Work on support tickets during high volume and communicate effectively with customers and support lead.

Required Skills

Required Skills:

Experience with SMB/Enterprise/Multitenant SharePoint

Experience developing and maintaining SharePoint environments

2+ years of experience with SharePoint Technologies (Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Office SharePoint Server 2010, InfoPath Forms Services, Excel Services, Search, Business Data Catalog and Web Services) in a variety of business environments

Understanding of SharePoint 2013 or 2010 Server farm concepts

Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 or 2012 installation, configuration and administration

Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2013, 2010, 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0

Experience with and understanding of virtualization on VMWARE platforms is a MUST

Excellent knowledge of programming / systems analysis, as well as quality assurance, prototyping, construction, integration, and migration functions.

Preferred Skills:

MS certifications in SharePoint plus a minimum of 3 years IT experience with an emphasis on Microsoft technologies

Strong knowledge and background in MOSS, WSS and ASP.NET, a plus

Preferred Education

BS Degree – Computer Science, Information Technology or similar study.
