A company is looking for a Remote Scala Developer/Data Engineer with over 8 years of experience.



Key Responsibilities

Design and build scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery
Implement new data exports and update business logic for various data feeds
Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ingestion and processing lifecycle


Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience coding in Scala with a strong foundation in functional programming
Experience with Apache Spark Structured Streaming (in Scala)
Experience with Apache Kafka
Basic understanding of AWS cloud technologies
