Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Coder for a national remote
position.
Key Responsibilities
Translate dictated pathology reports into CPT-4 and ICD-10 codes
accurately and timely
Review coding discrepancies related to payer denials and
communicate effectively with relevant departments
Perform various clerical functions and special projects as assigned
by the manager
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED or higher
Active AAPC coding certification: CPC
2+ years of experience in medical coding
2+ years of related work in billing or laboratory testing
Pathology coding experience preferred
