Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Multispecialty Surgery Coder
III.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality surgical coding and maintain accuracy in coding for
multispecialty chart types
Ensure all services documented in patient charts are coded with
appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes
Work with coding and billing teams to resolve coding-related
denials and provide timely responses to inquiries
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience in lieu of
diploma/GED
Completion of a recognized coding certification preparation
course
One of the following certifications: CPC, RHIT, RHIA, or CCS-P
Three years of multispecialty surgery coding experience, including
both inpatient and outpatient coding
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
