Jemsek Specialty Clinic is nationally recognized and growing. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our collaborative team. We are a team of providers dedicated to giving exceptional and holistic care to our patients who suffer from Lyme Disease and co-infections. Responsibilities: The IV Infusion Nurse specializes in administering intravenous medicine and/or fluids via peripheral IVs, midline catheters, Port access, and/or other types of lines. Experienced with sterile dressing changes Competent in accessing IV lines, catheters, ports, and any other types of lines; collecting patient samples and reviewing lab results, and able to monitor patients before and throughout the infusions Ensuring patients' safety is the highest priority when infusing medications; the IV Nurse will be aware of possible infusion reactions and will maintain open communication with all care team members if/when a reaction occurs Work closely with our team, so a team spirit and a go-to attitude are necessary. Patience, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively are key. Maintains professional practices and behavior following company policies, procedures, and standards of practice Comply with local, state, and federal rules and regulations and maintain all accreditation standards. Qualifications ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing (required). Prior Clinical Nursing Experience (preferred). Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (required).
