Its continuing care programs provide nearly 2.5 million visits annually.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS --- Preferred Education: Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor's degree program for Surgical Technologist.--- Preferred Certification: CST (certification requirement directed by local facility).--- A minimum of 18 months experience is required for CST and/or Associate or Bachelor's degree.--- If a Surgical Technologist program has not been completed, due to training on the job or trained in the military - Five (5) years' work experience is required.--- Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.--- Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients, surgeons and other patient care personnel, often during emergency or stressful situations.--- Analytical skills necessary in order to organize and prepare operating room according to best practice methods and procedures.--- Ability to stand for prolonged periods (greater than eighty percent of work time) and to occasionally lift and position patients when preparing patients for operative procedures.--- Manual dexterity necessary to grasp and hold firmly retractors and delicate surgical instruments.
