  • Looking for Multi-specialty OR experience, especially in ORTHO & ROBOTICS
  • SHIFT- 3x 12 hr shifts- (0700-1930)
  • No block scheduling (includes floating block)
  • 4-6 call shifts within a 6-week schedule
  • 30 minute call back response
  • 4-6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule
  • Weekend shifts could be day, evening, or night
  • Holidays per department need
  • The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team the RN works with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORT's and other personnel to provide patient care in the Operating Room according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Surgical Department.
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, updating of physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervision of personnel delivering patient care.
    • Job Requirements
    • Level 1 Trauma experience
    • Previous traveler experience
    • Minimum 2 years OR experience
    • BLS required
    • Will care for Covid patients
    • Could float as needed
    • Epic experience preferred but not required
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x 12 hr shifts- (0700-1930)
      • 4-6 call shifts within a 6-week schedule
      • 30 minute call back response
      • 4-6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule

        • Candidates cannot be considered if they have been employed as a perm hire at any WellSpan site within the year.
        • WellSpan requires the flu vaccine from September 7 - April 30. Please ensure your traveler is willing to obtain prior to submitting
