  • Scope of Role: Arrival and intake patients to the EmPATH space. Completion of admission process. Administer medications as ordered by the physician. De-escalation of patients in mental health crisis. Complete safety plan and review discharge instructions with patients.
  • Type of Service: EMPATH - Emergency Psychiatric Assessment Treatment and Healing. Immediate primary care giver to mental health patients who present in crisis needing mental health services in a therapeutic setting as an alternative to the emergency department. Short stay - 23-hour observation and quick stabilization to prevent hospitalization.
