Job Description:

  • Certification Details
  • ACLS required for specific hospital units.
  • BLS required for certain units.
  • Must check Unit Description to determine certifications required.
    • Job Details
    • All RTO must be included in the submission.
    • NICU RN position.
    • Start date: Orientation is every other Tuesday and is a two-day session.
    • VHC is only considering travelers who can start on the date listed in the job posting.
    • Schedule: Nights; 3x12s.
    • Weekends: Every other.
      • Job Requirements
      • Must have Active VA or Compact License in hand at submission.
      • Experienced NICU level 3 or 4.
      • BLS, NRP certifications.
      • Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience.
      • Staffed by acuity 1:1, 2:1 and 3:1.
        • Schedule Information
        • Nights; 3x12s.
        • Weekends: Every other.
        • Floating to the well baby nursery.
        • EPIC Class: Specific class depends on traveler's EPIC experience.
          • Unit Specific Information
          • NICU level 3 or 4
          • Experienced NICU RN
            • Additional Details
            • The Flu vaccine is required during flu season (Oct 1st - Mar 31st).
            • CMS guidelines followed for religious or medical Flu exemption.
            • Proof of Everify or Attestation required.
            • Government issued photo ID required during hours of service to client.
