A premier property in the DC area is looking to add a talented and polished Director of Catering to their team, to oversee the sales department and office operations. This company has several decades of proven success and a reputation for exceptional food and service.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to join an award-winning company with a prestigious clientele.This role will oversee the entire catering sales process, including developing and implementing sales strategies, managing budgets, building client relationships, and ensuring high-quality event execution to achieve revenue goals.Position Requirements:

• At least 7-10 years of high-volume event sales experience
• Experience leading and mentoring a team
• Experience with either a large scale hotel/venue or offsite catering
• Hospitality degree (or equivalent) preferred
• Experience selling for multiple venues/spaces a plus
• Financial Management and reporting knowledge
• Experience hiring and training employees
• Highly organized, having a true sense of ownership, and motivated for career growth
