Job Description:
Summary:The Chief Lending Officer leads the creation, execution,
and implementation of the bank?s lending strategy. Develops,
recommends and implements lending policies and products that drive
the bank?s mission of meeting the needs of the communities that the
bank serves. Manages the business development process to meet
revenue and growth goals as defined by the annual budgeting
process. Ensures compliance with state and federal lending laws.
Monitors and analyzes economic conditions affecting the loan
portfolio performance, and recommends appropriate action. Oversees
the servicing of the loan portfolio and maintenance of loan risk
ratings. Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made

customers. Convenes cross-functional collaboration with SMEs to
fully deliver the bank?s products and services to the
marketplace.
- Develop business plans for lending business segments to align
with the ENB strategic plan. Establish and ensure the
implementation of target goals for the departments. Establish and
monitor departments? annual budgets
- Oversee and monitor the commercial, agricultural, residential,
consumer and small business lending functions to achieve the bank?s
strategic goals. Oversee the work of loan managers and team leaders
in these lending areas to include sales (loan originators),
portfolio management, and loan servicing. Collaborate with
cross-functional leaders to ensure accurate underwriting, loan
processing, and loan documentation; accepts responsibility for
accuracy within the loan-making process.
- Research and evaluate feasibility of new lending products.
Develop and implement plans for expansion of the lending programs.
Keep abreast of changes in the industry and changing trends in
lending and react to changes in a way that maintains
competitiveness in product design and delivery channel
- Ensures that loan policies, procedures, services , delivery
channels and documentation meet federal and state regulations
- Analyzes and completes regularly schedule loan reports.
Develops procedures and reporting tools for effective information
flow through department and affected individuals. Information
should allow for optimizing performance of loan portfolio and
service delivery goals
- Maintain up to date knowledge of competitors? rates, terms,
products and other marketplace trends relating to residential
mortgage and consumer lending. Provide timely feedback that allows
the bank to react competitively.
- Work with the senior management team to development and
implement a sustainable, results oriented and customer centric
strategy that will deliver on shareholder, board, and customer
expectations.Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college preferred. MBA
preferred.
- Must have 12-15 years? lending experience and at least five 5
years managing a bank lending team.
- Knowledge of Local, State and National laws relating to
residential mortgage financing.
- Experience in working with government lending programs such as
SBA, FSA, FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA & USDA.
- Excellent business decision making skills. Ability to analyze
for strategic purposes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent
planning and organization skills.
- Excellent working relationship with other support areas of the
bank.
- Ability to oversee a fast-paced environment while managing
multiple projects.
- Excellent presentation and consensus-building skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of all lending processes including
processing, underwriting and closing.Competencies:

Lending business segments.Work Environment:This job operates in a
professional work environment. This role routinely uses standard
office equipment such as computers, monitors, mouse, keyboard,
phones, printers, scanners, photocopiers, filing cabinets,
calculator, and fax machines. Due to physical location of this
position, phone ringing, and people conversing, it may be difficult
to hear at times and therefore easily distracting.Physical

business needs is required.Travel:This position may require
