Support is primarily responsible for managing donor care services
and gift processing operations, as well as internal coordination of
development team-wide projects, cultivation, solicitation, and

- Lead the gift entry and gift administration process to ensure
adherence to current business rules and accurate record keeping in
SalesForce constituent database.
- Managethe secure handling of donation mail received from donors
and partners and facilitate successful deposit of checks.
- Manage the gift acknowledgment processes to ensure
lettersadhere to tax guidelines, anddonors are thanked and
acknowledged in a timely and personalized manner commensurate with
their level of giving.
- Conduct and supervise donor care activities including servicing
and tracking donor inquiries, and stewarding donors via phone,
email, and mail.
- Work in close collaboration with members of the various
vertical teams within the department to ensure all fundraising,
collateral and stewardship needs are met.
- Partner with direct supervisor to monitor caging vendor and
call center deliverables
- Collaborate with direct supervisor to continually improve
standard operating procedures with donor centricity in mind and in
support of overall fundraising strategies for the
organization.
- Assist the Finance and Operations teams in maintaining a
seamless financial reconciliation each month and to coordinate
activities as needed.
- Supervise, mentor, and train associate level staff.
- Provide support and execution for donor events as needed.
- Stay up to date on organizational messaging around WFP
programs, events, news to enhance donor care services.
- Organize and attend meetings; take minutes as needed.

candidate will possess the following:The successful Manager,
Development Support will be committed to WFP USA's programs,
mission and goals.Background
- 4+ years of experience in donor relations, development
operations, or related areas as part of a fundraising team
- Experience in supervising and mentoring entry level and/or
associate level employees
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Relevant graduate degree is a plusKnowledge and Experience
- Strong familiarity with the donor development cycle,
fundraising operations and donor care
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, editorial and proofreading skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage workflow processes and
schedules
- Ability to coordinate input from multiple stakeholders
- Prior experience working with external consultants
- Experience with Microsoft Office with significant knowledge of
Excel
- Strong experience with Salesforce or other constituent
