About The RoleWe are seeking a dynamic individual to lead and
manage our Ritzville branch. Our ideal candidate will be a strong

growth. This position will coach needs based selling, provide
branch operational support, will work closely with senior
management to develop and execute branch growth strategies, and is
expected to demonstrate leadership and engagement in the community.

you!POSITION SUMMARY:The Branch Manager is responsible for the
overall operational and profitability of the branch by directing
sales and business development, meeting operational objectives, and
ensuring the branch achieves its annual goals. Duties include the
management and leadership of employee development and engagement,
continual coaching and performance management. The Branch Manager
is responsible for prospecting and enhancing business relationships
by identifying and referring sales opportunities for financial
needs and presenting all options to the customer, following up as
needed. Branch Manager relationship banking responsibilities
include achieving goals, creating opportunities to identify a
customer's financial needs across all product and service lines,
and providing a referral to the appropriate department if needed.
May also assist with other departmental duties as assigned.BRANCH
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures that all customers receive the highest quality service,
which promotes the retention of deposits and generation of
operating income.
- Will manage branch as profit center by developing sales and
revenue generating programs. Includes creating branch sales plan,
developing branch staff and sales activities to achieve branch
sales and productivity goals.
- Actively investigates opportunities for expanding market share
and making Wheatland Bank more profitable, with particular
attention to identifying prospective customers and additional
financial needs among present customers.
- Maintains active calling plan for Book of Business clients and
prospects business calling plan of outside calls, which includes
in-person and telephone cold calling.
- Fully cross trained with Deposit Relationship Manager for cash
management and remote deposit capture.
- Introduces and cross-sells new and existing Bank products,
including obtaining deposits and selling non-deposit services.
- Maintains customer relationships.
- Ensures an effective working relationship with other Bank
personnel, as required to perform customer support and sales
function.
- Manages short and long range planning efforts for the branch,
including profit plan and capital budget.
- Prepares and provides input to the preparation of reports,
planning strategies, and budget goals and results.
- Ensures that appropriate daily, weekly, monthly and other
periodic reports are reviewed in a timely manner.
- Controls expenses to ensure the profitable operation of the
branch.
- Facilitates effective selling of Bank's products and
services.
- Actively solicits business from prospective customers.-
Conducts customer calls
- Assists in establishing sales and service goals and initiates
necessary actions to meet and exceed those goals.
- Maintains current knowledge of Wheatland Bank's and
competitors' products and services, rates, and terms.
- May provide credit services to customers in conformance with
Bank lending policy and interest rate guidelines.
- May have lending responsibilities or lending authority. If does
not have direct lending authority, works closely with loan officer
by identifying and targeting prospects, participating in meetings,
cross selling bank products and services, and assisting loan
officer with other duties as needed.
- Maintains current knowledge of regulations.
- Coordinates collection efforts.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements by complying
with Bank policies and procedures and operating within all current
federal and state regulations.
- Ensures compliance with audit requirements by communicating
audit standards to staff through continuous in-house audits and by
exercising procedural controls and security measures.
- Ensures that monthly branch certifications (audits) are
conducted, reviewed, and submitted to Administration.
- Maintains appropriate internal controls.
- Maintains active involvement in community affairs.
- May manage multiple branches.
- Coordinates and maintains branch retailing elements, such as
signage.
- Accountable for marketing products and services, within
marketing guidelines, to generate profitable revenue by calling on
businesses, developing centers of influence, and networking in
community. Coordinates branch advertising with Marketing
Department.
- Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the physical
facilities and equipment of the branch, both internally and
externally, including such activities as snow removal and external
building cleanliness.- Obtains bids for unbudgeted repairs or
maintenance.
- Conveys a professional image at all times, both personally and
for the branch personnel and facilities.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned by management as
needed.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the
Bank's policies and procedures.
- Participates in hiring and termination of employees.
- Responsible for employee performance appraisals, rewarding and
acknowledging, coaching, delegating, goal setting, and motivating
employees.
- Ensures adequate training is provided to staff.
- Maintains good staff morale.
- Makes recommendations for salary changes or promotions.
- Conducts weekly staff meetings.
- Maintains schedule of branch events.
- Monitors staff performance and reviews incentive reports.
- Ensures adequate branch staffing.
- Performs other tasks as requested by management.About
YouQUALIFICATIONS:
- A two-year college degree at a business or trade school and/or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two to five years of similar or related experience, including
time spent in preparatory positions.KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
- A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an
effective subject matter expert in the position.WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in
climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise
level.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are
