offerings.NightWing is supporting a U.S. Government customer on a
large mission critical development and sustainment program to
design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations
environment; including introducing new cyber capabilities to
address emerging threats. NightWing is seeking a Network Engineer
to support the design, development, and deployment of a new DevOps
infrastructure and advanced cybersecurity
capabilities.Responsibilities:Collaborating with Agile Scrum teams
as a key contributor responsible for the implementation of advanced
network communications and cybersecurity capabilities, including
the selection of hardware and software and the design of
infrastructure services required to enable the cybersecurity
capabilities.Fully develop and configure solutions for networking
devices to include firewalls, load balancers, routers, and
switchesImplement firewall policies as requested by administrators
from other teamsPerform break fix actions/O&M, to include
physically on-site as neededUpgrading and maintaining network
device software for compliance and vulnerabilitiesSustainment of
ISA networking architectureData center hardware management to
included racking and de-racking hardware occasionally, as
neededMonitors the status of the network and responds to
issues/tickets requests that occur using network monitoring and
performance toolsWork with engineering to developing high quality
technical documentation, including user guides, test plans, and
contract deliverable items and supporting product line
training.Required Skills: -U.S. CitizenshipMust have an
active/current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.Must be
able to obtain DHS SuitabilityMust be able to work first shift
scheduleMust be able to travel domesticallyMust be able to support
on-site work (Position is hybrid, with a minimum of 20% on-site
work requirement)8+ years of professional networking
experienceTCP/IP networking, VPN encryption, firewalls, and
SNMP-based network management experienceIn depth knowledge and
advanced troubleshooting experience in regard to Layer 2
functionality and protocol in a Cisco/Juniper environmentExperience
with troubleshooting and implementing Layer 3 routing protocols
over a multi-site environment in a Cisco/Juniper environmentMust
have strong knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting IPSEC VPN
and firewall architectureMust have a strong knowledge of LAN/WAN
protocolsDesired Skills:Experience with BGP and OSPF routing
protocolsExperience using network monitoring and automation tools
for troubleshooting and task simplificationTechnical understanding
of cybersecurity attack techniques and associated mitigation
techniquesExperience troubleshooting and implementing VPN
technologiesExperience implementing firewall base policies using
Juniper firewallsFamiliarity with AWS and/or Azure networking and
connectivity to on-prem environmentsRequired Education: -Bachelor's
degree in Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering or a related
discipline is required. [A Master's degree in a related discipline
may substitute for two (2) years of experience. - A PhD may
substitute for four (4) years of experience. Ten (10) years of
experience (for a total of eighteen (18) or more years) may be

as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified
Network Professional (CCNP), Juniper Networks Certified Internet

105,000 USD - 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good
faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
considers several factors when extending an offer, including but
not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities,
a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and
