Federal Financials Business Consultant -Mid Position Description

Join a team in which you would work together to solve a client's
financial, budget, and audit remediation related challenges. This
position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid
working model is acceptable. Your future duties and
responsibilities What you'll do: (assignments may include
responsibilities in one of more of the following areas): ---
Develop knowledge of a client's industry, customers, organization
and business objectives. --- Develop SOP a SOP and/or an SOP
approach --- Perform BPR --- Assess financial processes for
innovation and automation opportunities --- Analyze and solve
financial and budget management related challenges for our clients
to create or improve a system, process, data, controls and other.
--- Provide quality client support by answering questions and
fostering communication. --- Assess processes, documents,
organization structure, and system activities to identify gaps and
provide recommendations, innovation and solutions. --- Work closely
with the client staff, production team, and development team to
translate client issues and concerns into workable solutions. ---
Provide in depth financial and budget analysis to guide the client.
--- Provide research to identify causes for errors, manual
processes Required qualifications to be successful in this role 5-8
years of Accounting/financial management experience Passion for
working with customers in accounting-related disciplines -Federal
financial management/accounting - Experience working with
financial/accounting systems (federal is preferred) -Some
experience with federal budget federal budget execution,
reimbursable agreements, and federal financial management -
Knowledge of Federal Financial Regulations and Treasury Financial
Manual -Action Oriented -Critical/Analytical Thinking -Strong
Communication (Oral/Written) -Functional/Data Analysis -Teamwork
Experience -Learning Agility -Business Consulting Acumen -Strong
Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot table capability -Strong
Microsoft Powerpoint and Word skills Desired
qualifications/non-essential skills required: Experience working
with Momentum Experience with audits (federal is preferred) SAP
Business Analytics CGFM, CDFM or CPA Certified Internal Auditor

determination of this range includes various factors not limited to
skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and
certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based
performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the
top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are
dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable
estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is
