DutiesThe Supervisory Budget Analyst duties include:Budget Formulation and Execution: Oversees the formulation, justification, and execution of the budget for a major organizational component, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises and directs the work of budget analysts, providing guidance, setting performance expectations, and conducting performance appraisals.Policy Development: Develops and implements budget policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and providing advice to senior management on budgetary matters.Financial Analysis: Conducts in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making, including the identification of trends, risks, and opportunities within the budget.Liaison Role: Acts as a liaison with other departments and external agencies, representing the organization in budgetary matters and facilitating coordination on financial issues.The ideal candidate is an experienced budget professional with a strong background in federal budget processes, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to develop and implement budget policies.
